Fair Use

The moment I heard about the umbrella insurance, a story about a student came to mind. I was subing in a kindergarten classroom when one of the students stayed outside on the swings. This kid was moving back and forth as if he didn't have a care in this world. All I could do was wonder what could have happened if I hadn't reacted quickly! I could have been sued, someone could have taken the child. Crazy thoughts of loosing that kid ran through my mind that day. For me learning of umbrella insurance surely gave me hope. Teaching does have perks!!!

Assessment Discussion

I believe discussing assessments in Educ 517 is great. It helps reinforce the importance of the subject matter.

Do students need access to technology in the 21st century?

I believe students need technology in the 21st century. Today's society is all about technological growth. It is the way of the world.Technology is the vehicle used to aid the blind students to see; by way of audible tools and Braille keyboards. It provides the deaf students the ability to hear by use of visual aids; tele-typewritingdevices/telecommunication devices for the deaf. It also provides typical students with a wealth of knowledge at the touch of their fingertips: with search engines such as Google, all one needs to do is type in what he/she is seeking out and there it is: more information than needed.

Students and Technology

Do students need access to technology in the 21st century? If so, why? If not why not?

I believe students should have access to technology in the 21st century. Technology provides many avenues for learning.
